PROPHET BAWUMIA:--------- Mr. President, care to read? Today's request for disclosure on the 2007 redenomination is another demonstration of incompetence. Apart from the fact that the then Governor disclosed the cost as far back as 2007, if the President really wanted to find out the cost of the redenomination, he could simply have asked his VEEP who was Bank of Ghana Governor, especially when the President was Head of the Economic Management Team between 2009 and 2012. Such petty propaganda should be beneath someone of the stature of a President. It is clear he is very poorly briefed, but when a President decides to join the bandwagon of propaganda , he only ends up embarrassing himself. Moving on, can the President (with the same zeal) and his Economic Management Team respond to the 170 statements contained in my last lecture?

For that reason, he wondered if the NPP had the moral right to accuse Mr John Mahama of using state resources to pay bribes and buy votes, when the outcome of its own polls was questionable".
Some of us have always known that the NPP strategy of labeling the President as corrupt was a strategy to hide their own massive corruption in their party. if there was ever a doubt, Chairman Wuntomi's aide has erased all that. Now we know NPP better.

Please, think about that. Let's make this about building GHANA our DEAR MOTHERLAND. Forget the politics that these individuals come and try to fool us with. Also, try and avoid the insults; they really don't help. Remember when we toiled and risked (students especially) our lives and education in 2000 to have Kufuor in: how much of the average Ghanaian's feeling changed even after the 8yrs? We spent the time persecuting "enemies" rather than constructing Ghana so as to make lives better for all. We don't need the former; we must get together and move forward; that is how all progressive nations are doing now; the politics is just distraction and we should not buy into it at the expense of our nation and future. Look, if we have to sacrifice our good feelings today for a solid future, it is the most noble cause of our time; it is next to the shedding of blood by our forebears for the independence and freedom from colonialism we now enjoy. You may not like Mahama, but I am sure you love Ghana. When we use him to build her, we will all be glad and proud - even though the majority of us may not be feeling (materially) good now. But that is the higher calling we need to heed. Please, join hands with Ghana, not politicians so we cement our image home and abroad with a stable and continuous development agenda. Ghanaians must be very careful to put their trust in NPP and their flag bearer and his running mate Dr.Bawumia who is portraying himself as the only one in the country who is so experienced than anyone in economics,people must understand how politics can do both bad and good and my test case is The Brexit where United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union which has become the "had we known" it is too late for UK to take that unthinkable decision,now UK pound sterling is weak than whati could have imagined.
