I think the EC is "punishing" Mrs. Rawlings for daring to reveal that she's a Nigerian. Another scenario is that the EC is implementing Asiedu Nketiah's agenda. But there is everything wrong with the EC's decision especially on the grounds of procedural or substantive due process. It makes me wonder the EC has any legal brains. So would she have disqualified the NDC or NPP on the same grounds? Any sane person who says 'yes' to this question must know she/he is sick. And that alone must tell you the disqualification of Nana Konadu Rawlings is capricious, unreasonable, and biased. It's a sad day in Ghanaian politics!
