People with such utterances have no self confidence and believe that material wealth will buy them some respect. You can have all the money in the world and still have kindergarten intelligence. In the west, hardly do you find people talk about their material wealth. This is in contrast to Ghana and for that matter our poor continent. Empty barrel makes the most noise.
