When it comes to social intervention and taxes,I'll agree that there are différences.
The Social Démocrates believe in "collective efforts" for development and more taxes to support social programmes and developmental projects.
On the contrary,the Liberals as NPP claims believe in "individual's efforts" for development.In case of Ghana unlike Europe and America where liberalism has been practised for many centuries we cannot apply full liberal policies here because we don't have the human resoucres and Financial capital.NPP Under Kuffour couldn't do anything different apart from creating ofshore banks here that NDC have abolished.Now the question is why did Kuffour approve the worst form of Banking in Ghana?Allowing mafias to operate their accounts here?This cannot be accepted even in the United States.NDC Under Mahama has seen govt investing more in State Owned Enterprises contrary to what Kuffour did.
Here is where Nana Addo puts himself into trouble,going by the ideals of free market economy.Why did Nana Addo promise "one district one factory" knowing very well that the state has no business in doing business?Aha.Thank you.
