Commander, I do get your point, but there issue is more than 207 and sprinter vehicles. If one can buy a driver's licence and a road worthy certificate, then tell me what chance you stand to survive in accidents? It's the cor ... read full comment

Road traffic accident not taken seriously in Ghana. The IGP was able to halt all checks as well. I don't really know who authorised him to take that action?

It is extremely sad and frightening to read the statistics on road accidents in Ghana. Reading such stories make me convince that life is CHEAP in Ghana! The custodians of the law and people in power have sold their conscience and integrity for money. I am convinced that there are more vehicles on the roads that have not actually been tested for road worthiness. The certificates are bought rather than the vehicles being taken through test, as required by law. Who sells those DEATH WARRANTS? That is what we should address as part of the whole entire rotten road transport system in Ghana. Examine your conscience - from DVLA to Police Officers!!
