Sickness, of which cancer is a constituent component, affects all. Ultimately this, and other factors, brings to reality man's mortality.
Steve Mallory's revelation that Akufo-Addo has cancer is neither here nor there. Cancer, like any sickness, is treatable. Indeed, here in the U.K, the remission rate is improving - check website of Cancer Research UK. So, if Nana has cancer, his advisors should come out and say so. They should then tutor Africa Watch and its financiers that having cancer (or any sickness for that matter) does not, and ought not detract from one's aspirational goals. If the mindset of the magazine's editor is anything to go by, a lot of world leaders would have been disqualified. Check the medical records for Theresa May, Obama, Hillary Clinton etc. Using sickness to derail Nana's presidential ambition is thus a no-brainer!
