  ONE OF YOUR CORE DUTY IS TO MAKE SURE THINGS IN THE MARKET MEET YOUR STANDARD , -your duty is the first security to the consumer,
  measures
  
  on drugs- heavy penalties must be sanctioned to any person who imported or sell fake drugs into the market
  
  2.on other goods- the country must enforce guarantee laws- eg auto spare parts must have 3months guarantee of the view that if it is a genuine parts it can last more than 3months
  if it got damage before the guarantee expiration , the consumer is backed by the law to get the money back.

  Price matters and your standards mark is not responsible for determining the heath and safety attributes of low or high risk commidities. Products are of varying quality. A minimum Stardards in itself does not render a product as good quality. Consumers are entitled to cheap low quality products at cheap prices
