  Government has withdrawn the allowances and replace it with student loans. Any student very serious to be a teacher will apply for student loan as every student in higher education get. If they are to receive the allowance is it fair for other students in the same level of education? Please lets be fair to ourselves.

  Intelligence I am gathering indicates that Mahama is planning to pay Cost of Living Allowance to Public sector workers by 30th Nov., 2016, in order to deceive workers to vote for him. This has become necessary because there is every indication that the ruling NDC has become synonymous to hardship on the lips of every Ghanaian and the NDC trying to win the upcoming election at all cost is implementing this deceitful agenda hoping to gain some votes from workers. Ghanaians workers should not be deceived by the evil machinations of Mahama and his family and friends who are milking Mother Ghana Dry.

  The teacher trainees are now tertiary students and should be treated as such.We even need more graduate teachers not just teacher trainees with diploma.

  The alawa should be restored bcos,looking at the treatment at de teacher training colleges u are treated like an shs student,paying of huge somes of money as fees for every semester,huge examination fees,forgetting handouts and even if u fail one subject u are totally redrawn from de school which does not happens in any tetiary institutions. WE DESERVE FULL RESPECT,THE ALAWA SHLD BE RESTORED

  Taking more teacher and nursing trainees and abolishing the allowance is worst thing president can do. We want quality teachers and nurses, not quantity with pain and struggle. Take less and pay them allowance.
