The most important is the evidence on the ground, the president is commissioning these projects. Ghanaians cried and bayed for the blood of Kufuor and the NPP about this time eight years ago. Crude price of oil on the international market then was $ 140.00 per barrel. The pump price in Ghana was Gh 5,300 ( old cedis ) the equivalent of Ghc 5.30. The Ndc mounted a propaganda campaign against the government. Nana Addo was the candidate, representing the NPP. The Ndc claimed it will reduce the price of petrol, drastically when voted into power. Currently, with Ndc in government, crude price of oil is under $50.00. Nowhere near $140.00 .The pump price now is almost Ghc 18.00 per gallon. Yet, President Mahama and the Ndc government have looked us in the face and increased the price by 11% today. They still have the nerve to ask to be voted for to continue to govern this nation. Sammi is right in saying, President Mahama acts as if he has some assured votes. Only crooks in government and hard nosed thieves will have the courage to do this. Away.
