The Minister said the total debt is around $20M and I do not think all of that was from the previous NPP ministry.

FA receives money from FIFA and pays itself hefty bonuses. Gov't keeps shouldering the burden of the national team and gets nothing other than being short-changed. My take is gov't should lay off her hands on sporting activities and allow the private sector to develop sports in the country. Do we even need a Ministry for Sports???????????????

The court in turn orders a freeze on the ministry's a/c so in case the ministry defaults payment, they can use whatever money in that account to defray either part or the whole amount. So that is y the ministry's account is frozen not becos they don't want the money to accrue interest. Abeiku was just trying to mean the account is empty so they won't get anything from it after freezing.

Why would somebody follow a government that is not doing well to suffer when they're enjoying. They will tell you everything is ok because politicians think we're fools. Even when God appointed king Saul as king and he failed, God changed Saul and made David the kingdom. In our time, God has given us the power to choose our leaders. God doesn't choose for us. But He just approves whoever who choose as human beings. So if we choose the bad government we will pay for it. The same goes if we choose a competent government we get the reward for doing so.
