GYEEDA,SUBAH,SADA,Woyome and Bus re-branding were all schemes designed by the incompetent Mahama's NDC government to siphon Ghana's resources.

There were some misunderstandings in NDC primaries in Kadjebi-Asato in 2000, then Rashid Bawa stood as an independent candidate and defeated the feuding NDC candidates. Kuffour needed a working majority in parliament and convinced Rashid Bawa and another such NDC Independent MP, Sadique Boniface from Salaga to join NPP. In the 2004 both candidates regained their seats. The same phenomenon was witnessed in Nkwanta North after its creation by Kuffour in 2004. The NPP candidate was eventually defeated in 2012. In all these places, the presidential have always been won by NDC candidate, be it Mills or Mahama. There is no such thing as NPP strongholds in Volta North. Twi is spoken alongside local tribal languages, but the loyalty to NDC is solid rock.
