On Feb 4th 2016, John Dramani Mahama was thumping his chest and screaming and shouting and singing from the rafters that, during his second term in office, he John Osomfo Dramani Mahama Atopi will fill the pockets of Ghanaians to the brim, it will be paradise on Earth. So what happened with this quick retreat from what he was sweetly singing to Ghanaians about filling pockets with kudi? Was he lying? Did he know and believe what he was talking about? What made him say what it is reported he said? What was pushing him? Was he on another planet or in a bubble all his own where he liked the sound of what he was saying in that echo chamber?
Has he now got back to reality?
Folks, governance is very, very serious business not given to rhetoric and fanciful talk borne out of desperation at the impending huge loss by a failed President and in this election, Ghana must send that lesson very, very loud and clear to John Mahama and his NDC party, when you have lost an election, just don't talk anyhow because it is insulting to our democracy and socioeconomic development and an insult and disrespectful to the intelligence of Ghanaians.
The Mahama-led NDC gov't and party needs this lesson fully and Ghana will oblige him at the ballot box by massively voting him and all the NDC party represents out of office. They need the lesson and they must, should and will have it.
