The fact that Akufo-Addo's own Law Degrees from Varsities abroad remain unsubstantiated add to the suspicions expressed above.

These fraudulent, pseudo-Academics realize that as much as our folks exalt high Academic laurels, most of us do not have the ability or resources to cross-check any claims they make of owning higher Degrees. And they comfortably ride high on that fictitious Academic buffer to enjoy our readiness to elevate them to high Social and Political positions.

It is time our Institutions began scrutinizing the Academic and Professional claims by anyone who uses such credentials to gain access to positions or opportunities at the expense of the rest of us.

The EC is crossing the line,in the first place there is no academic qualification to become a president in Ghana for that matter anything listed as educational qualification cannot disqualify the candidate,EC has no right to check educational background of candidates since that is not requirement to become a president.

I'm not a fan of this Ayariga guy but the EC is abusing its powers and I can agree with Ayariga that the EC is not doing things right,this is victimization and I hope CID does not get involved,it just does not make sense for the same EC that allowed this man to contest election in 2012 will turn around today to tell us his educational qualifications are fake,the same thing he listed on his resume in 2012,this is crazy.

Now,will the EC go after many of the MPs who never been to any classroom of the schools they claim they obtain their degrees from,those who don't even know where these schools are?

They should leave the man alone,he will have no impact on the election anyway.

He broke the covenant he had with the mother to develop the father's ring road hotel into a first class hotel in Accra because of its proximity but instead sold it to SG SSB on which they have put up their new Head Office. How can a man who cannot manage his father's estate be entrusted with destiny of this Country? Ghanaian are trading dangerously. Honorary Degrees

AIUC recognizes the years of service dedicated to the Lord, significant contributions to the Church, notable achievements of individuals in active Christian service, and the exemplary qualifications of those individuals in their field of service.

A candidate for a honorary degree must be at least thirty five (35) years old and have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of full or active part-time Christian service (some exceptions in ministry years may be made based on the achievements).

An honorary degree is awarded in recognition of an individual’s work in contribution to the Church – ministry and academic. The candidate for an honorary degree must be recommended by three (3) established ordained ministers and/or professional Christians (at least one must be an ordained minister). The following is a list of honorary degrees awarded by AIUC:

Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)

For an exemplary qualification in any area of Christian ministry.

Doctor of Evangelism (D.Evan.)

For an exemplary qualification in any field of Evangelism.

Doctor of Sacred Counseling (D.S.C.)

For an exemplary qualification in the field of Christian counseling.

Doctor of Sacred Education (D.S.E.)

For an exemplary qualification in the field of Christian Education/Teaching.

Doctor of Sacred Missions (D.S.M.)

For an exemplary qualification in the field of Christian missions.

Doctor of Sacred Literature (D.S.Litt.)

For an exemplary qualification in the field of Christian writing/theology/biblical studies.

Doctor of Sacred Humanities (D.S.Hum.)

For an exemplary qualification in the field of Christian humanitarian service.

Doctor of Sacred Music (D.S.Mus.)

For an exemplary qualification in the field of Christian music or worship ministry.

For a consideration of any of the above, please submit an official AIUC application for an honorary degree, along with a written letter of application from you, stating your qualifications and why you should be considered, together with a full and detailed resume, which should include all of the following:

1.Full name, mailing and email addresses, and telephone numbers (s).
2.Date and place of birth, and citizenship.
3.Date of salvation (including a statement of salvation).
4.Basic statement of faith of your doctrinal position
5.Name of spouse (if married), number of children (if any);
6.Complete history of your Christian service and in order beginning from the current/last at the top to the first at the bottom (Example: Last: From March 1992 to November 1988; First: From January 1989 to December 1993). Include the following:

A. Names and addresses of churches/ministries and field of ministry service/position held.

B. Ministerial licenses & ordinations (if applicable), including names of organizations (denominations, associations, local churches or Bible colleges/seminaries) and dates;

C. Professional certifications & licenses (if applicable – Christian or secular), including names of organizations and dates.

D. Education: Names of schools attended including dates, addresses, certificates and diplomas received (if any).

E. Any service achievement award received; ministry or secular including dates.

F. Military service (if any) including dates.

G. Honorary Degree Title: Exemplary qualifications within the Christian field for which the honorary degree is being applied for, to warrant the granting of the degree.

7.Three (3) letters of recommendation from established ordained ministers and/or professional Christians from your church, ministry, association, fellowship, denomination, community, etc. who can give testimony of your Christian ministry service on their letterhead. One letter of recommendation may be accepted if the ordained minister or Christian professional recommending the applicant is affiliated with Achievers International. The letterhead must include mailing and email addresses and phone number (s), and must be signed and dated.
8.A recent passport or wallet size photo of yourself must be attached.

9.A donation of $950.00, which must be made payable to Prince Nnams World Outreach Ministries

Humbleness can win us forgiveness and clemency when we are wrong but being disrespectful to others is what society see as unforgivable and unpardonable sin; even though it is not a crime but sometimes can lead to a crime which is punishable by law.This is exactly the position of Hassan Ayariga today. Money is sweet but can be intoxicating as the same time. I expected Ayariga to have considered his background and humble himself after been blessed with wealth by his creator who himself is humble to his own children he created. Earthly or materials things do not accompany us into our watery graves so bragging about houses and fleets of cars and houses is simply insane which requires an antidote. Well, no matter how wealthier you are, I just want to remind you that no one is above the laws of the land. Acceptance of a fault or mistake is not a defeat and therefore Ayariga ought to have known better than insulting the EC boss who is only applying our own constitutional laws. The inability to fill a common form by a doctor of philosophy is about to open the "Pandora box" of Ayariga. Attaining a political science PhD degree from a Spanish parish is beyond laughable but this is ghana for you. We do not have the right to dispute his doctorate degree and its source until the completion of the ongoing police investigation.
