I cannot believe this man is still hanging around. It is clear he is losing interest in his role if he has not already lost it. His capability is being questioned day in day out never mind the abuses and criticisms by those who think a local coach can do a better job than him. From the way things are going I don't think this man has the right frame of mind to guide the Black Stars to perform at the Afcon, never mind the WC Qualifiers. I think he must leave now and a local coach put in place to appease those who don't like him if he wants to have peace of mind. I this is the beginning of the end.

Probably GFA accepted right from the start this arrangement with the coach, in order to pay him less or put it this way, for the coach to accept the pay he is recieving! That is why they can't fire him just like that! These trips and the obligations with skysports etc are all part of the agreement GFA signed with Grant! Definitely Grant is perhaps earning more with this assignment with Skysports than what he is earning as the coach of the Black Stars! The GFA can't afford to cause "financial loss to the state" again like they did when they fired Appiah! Grant would sit out his contract and if per chance the Black Stars win the AFCON the whole story would have to be rewritten! We all remember how praises were showered on him when he led the Black Stars to the finals and missed the cup only in the penalty shootout almost two years ago at AFCON 2015!The coach Grant would definitely not renew his contract and NO FOREIGN COACH WOULD ACCEPT THE PEANUTS GRANT IS RECIEVING. OUR LOCAL COACHES, I'M SORRY TO SAY ARE STILL NOT UP TO THE TASK, CONSIDERING THE HIGHER COACHING STANDARDS AND EQUIPMENTS WHICH OUR BLACK STARS PLAYERS ARE USED TO! IT'S A CRUEL VICIOUS CIRCLE AND THE GFA IS COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED BY THIS "PROBLEM" !

As being an ex-Chelsea box, you need to realize that the Ghana position is a bit small for him. He is not going to be bossed around by the GFA or Ministry....He can leave this job and not worry where his next meal will be coming from.

Uganda coach was there, yes how many times has Uganda qualified for that competition, and how many coaches will not be excited to be there given his situation. Have we not always been there for the past over 30yrs for the draw and inspection? what do we have to show within that period for it? In any case, is there a time limit for the inspection before the tournament begins? Ghanaians, if you dont like a dog, you give it a name so you can kill it. And then in a year or two, you turn around a be looking for the same person. That is why Ralf Zumdic, Erns Midindof and others will not come back.
