Tell us what the President should have done for the Voltarians which he hasn't? As a president he needs to treat all regions fairly and this explains why in the Rawlings regime developments were evenly spread in the country and Mahama has continued. The party acknowledges the gratitude of the Voltarians and that is good enough. Four years is not good enough to address all developmental issues of the region. Some of you appear to have the nation that for a government to be good, it must be feeding its people three times a day, give them wine and akpeteshie, pay dowries on behalf of men, cloth the people etc. Ask yourself how much have you contributed to the coffers of the nation. Governorship is not as easy as you think. The economic crisis is global and is being felt by all in the world. You may have good reason to vote against the government but it should certainly not the kind of reasoning advanced here

I don't remember the last time I had the opportunity to visit the Volta region so I can't say which of the two sides is painting the correct picture. However, there is one thing I know, a lot of Voltarians have migrated to and settled in other parts of Ghana permanently, especially in the Ashanti, Brong Ahafo and Eastern regions. Their voting pattern in these places has never depended on development of the areas where they find themselves. So why so much noise now that the NDC have not done enough for the region. What has changed?
