There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

Master Mahama is the wrong person to appeal because he himself compromised when he accepted an Ford SUV as a gift a person that was doing business with Ghana. Mahama fails the corruption test.

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS)recruitment exercises had always been compromised. One reason that account for the consistent recruitment exercise scams, stems from the fact that, the GIS is the weakest security institution, among all the security agencies, controlled by the Interior Ministry of Ghana, today. The GIS is also a corrupt institution, because, most of its senior officers are promoted to higher ranks, based on who in government, they are connected to. For example, a couple of years back, if my memory serves me right, one of the past NDC Ministers of Interior, from the North, who's now a member of Parliament, whose name I am with holding for now, recruited one whole training class, from his home region. I am therefore not surprised, if the current Minister of the Interior is taking the same route. Although, the Immigration Service stinks of corruption, the country Ghana, is more sick, so sad to say! This is a shame to all Ghanaians.

lt is true the NDC has taken control of the whole process without considering those who purchased the form n wrote the examination. Mahama n his NDC are the most corrupt government to rule this country, our children have completed University education but still at home without work for many year's n as a result the onus lies on the patents to feed them. The NDC just threw in the Forms to get money for their campaign. The Fire Service, Judiciary, Police, Prisons all sold Forms but nothing good comes from it.
