And their only hope of clinging to power now is the Alata woman they put at the EC to manipulate and rig the elections for them. They are hoping against hope to continue their mediocre rule at the expense of the ordinary Ghanaian who is wallowing in hunger and being overtaxed.

The Volta region too is no longer the World Bank and stronghold of the NDC con-men. After snatching the party from Rawlings and his wife by the 'babies with sharp teeth', and ignoring the developmental needs of the Volta region, the people of the region feel betrayed and have now joined their brothers and sisters in the other parts of country to reject the NDC party.
