  The good people of Dambai should not lose focus. Their time will come under the leadership of Nana who had vowed not to dip his hands into the treasury like Mahama who is buying cars, houses etc for people like Akua Donkor just to win votes.

  These corrupt and useless chiefs think they can blackmail President Mahama to have him pay the fraudulent Lands Compensation claims. The Kufour Govt. did not carry out due diligence and approved the compensation payments in 2008 when these corrupt chiefs presented fraudulent documents in collusion with the Lands Commission's Lands Valuation Boards's Bentsi-Enchill, corrupt State Attorneys at the AG Dept and some officials at Finance and Economic Planning. Only a corrupt NPP govt. led by Nana Ado Dankwa Akufo Addo will try to overturn Mahama's decision which is supported by the findings of Justice Yaw Apau's Judgment Debt Commission Report. Even that will fail because the fraudulent claims are being challenged in the High Court and Supreme Court as the payments were in contravention of the provisions of the 1992 Constitution that the payments should have been made through the Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands.
  
  In fact, some of these Chiefs should be in jail for presenting those fraudulent documents for the compensation claims. The so-called Paramount Chief should be asked whether he has a blackstool? That paramountcy was political and Nkrumah's CPP govt. simply "dashed" them one without a blackstool.So it is not even true that the Asukawkaw faolks have always been of the UP tradition. The Asukawkaw folks originally lived atAkroso Amanfoso which was inundated when the Akosombo dam was constructed. the land belonged to Akroso people who were resettled at Ntomaboma. The land on which they were resettled on at Asukawkaw was acquired from the original owners by GoG under Nkrumah to replace their land they lived on Akroso Amanfoso, so the GoG does not owe Asukawkaw folks any compensation. In fact, the GoG should make them refund and fraudulent compensation they have received so far. The Gyamfi who was Chief before they were resettled was actually the son of slave from Akaa near Jasikan whom the Akroso people put in charge of the ferry that was used to move people across the Asukawkaw from Kwamekrom and Tapa Abotoase to Krachi in the days before the inundation of the area.
