NPP using year 2000 election campaign strategy which seems to be working very well for NPP again.
The 2000 election was when NPP came mentioning "trillions' in Ghana politics for the first time. Deceiving Ghanaians that the then JJ Rawlings gov't blew up Ghana's money in trillions. Ghanaians were shocked and so voted out the NDC gov't, but NPP lost power 8yrs later when most Ghanaians came to know the TRUTH that they were TRICKED with lies.
Today, 2016 election, NPP is on the same trick deceiving Ghanaians that the John Mahama NDC gov't has blown billions of dollars on nothing.
In order for NPP not to be accused on the trillion allegations NPP was FAST to redenominate the Cedi by dropping 4-zeros to read lesser. So for example 1,000,000,000 will be 100,000 (1 billion is now hundred thousand). They now call this figure Ghana Cedis.

KT has managed to avoid NPP primaries for 2016 elections (under Nana Addo's watch) because it was obvious he was going to lose. He organized a popular declaration show late in the evening to declare himself Parliamentary candidate. This has prompted one Richard Ofori to go Independent in the constituency for 2016 election.
He has lost touch with his constituency and now a big liability for the NPP.

The demographic such propagandist buffoonery appeals to, is shrinking much faster than John Mahama winning elections in this country and as we have continually suggested, the NDC party under Mahama and Asiedu"election rigger"Nketia has become the most unattractive political organization in the history of Ghana's multiparty democracy and on course, to lose it's relevance as a serious opposition political party because the NDC party is now trending as a jokers paradise given to comic relief.
Listened to snippets of that unabashed concert of a campaign stump speech where the NDC'S joker of a Gen Sec was reported to have made that comedic statement and it was embarrassingly sad and pathetic. How can a party, any party at all have such a Gen Sec? It is totally ridiculous to the point of hilarity.

The second question is, what was the money used for? Was there any balance and where is it? Baaku should give us a break with his all knowing. There was nothing weird about the investigations into such criminal activities initiated by Kufour. Ghanaians would never know of the illegal sale of such national asset if there was no commission set up to find out the rots committed by Kufour and his criminal gangs.
