There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

it baffles me how people will still support a dead party like ndc that thrives on the illiteracy of the masses. what's special about building schools and hospitals? these things should have been done 35 years ago! yet due to our mediocre mindsets in 2016 we are jubilating over some petty and cheap hospitals and schools built by ndc which is a disgrace. whilst advanced economies are building automatic railway systems mediocre Ghanaians are jubilating over basic stuff like schools and hospitals. an achievement of ndc indeed!

From civil servants, public officials and cabinet members , either participated in the loot. Or looked the other way,when the act was in the works. Did we not listen to numerous radio programmes in which members of government and Ndc party, came out strong to defend Woyome? Finally, a verdict was obtained. What is the difficulty is getting back stolen money from an individual.
Team Woyome was a plan agreed upon at very high places in the Ndc party, to find a way to steal money from the government treasury. Many names and reputations will be destroyed if we ever get to the bottom of this saga. Yes the nation seems spineless but under whose tenure as President, did this happen.
