The 2000 election was when NPP came mentioning "trillions' in Ghana politics for the first time. Deceiving Ghanaians that the then JJ Rawlings gov't blew up Ghana's money in trillions. Ghanaians were shocked and so voted out the NDC gov't, but NPP lost power 8yrs later when most Ghanaians came to know the TRUTH that they were TRICKED with lies.
Today, 2016 election, NPP is on the same trick deceiving Ghanaians that the John Mahama NDC gov't has blown billions of dollars on nothing.
In order for NPP not to be accused on the trillion allegations NPP was FAST to redenominate the Cedi by dropping 4-zeros to read lesser. So for example 1,000,000,000 will be 100,000 (1 billion is now hundred thousand). They now call this figure Ghana Cedis.

His account of the Drill Ship money did not make any sense. Meanwhile, why couldn't there be any paper-trail to establish exactly where that money went?

There should be no doubt about Hammond, a whole Lawyer, routing the money through whatever tunnels he claimed, including the British High Commission, did so with the purpose of making it hard to trace the final destination of that loot.

Why did he and his cohorts drop the original Law Firm that was handling Ghana's side of the case against Societe General to contract a Law Firm he, Hammond, had worked for before, only to concede our loss to Societe General and emburden us with the debt that he claimed the Ship was sold to pay for? Meanwhile, all indications showed Ghana was in a better situation to win the case when the previous Law Firm was handling Ghana's defense.

It is easy to believe Hammond orchestrated Ghana's loss of the case in order to dispose of the Drill Ship to skim its proceeds into his and his cohorts pockets. Period!

He is a crook!

Malik Baako must also not try to underestimate the immunity and image protection that MPs enjoy from being in Parliament.

Even if the MPs could be stripped of the immunity for trial of a case for which Prima Facie has been established, they always count on the uproar their constituents could generate for their defense as a layer of protection against Prosecution.

These likely criminally-tainted MPs do not run to contest for Parliamentary positions out of sheer love to serve their constituencies.

Barton Oduro of the Woyomegate notoriety is one such MPs.

Asiedu-Nketia will have to tell Ghanaians where he got money to buy the mansion he bought in Western Canada. He'll have to tell Ghanaians whether he's a Canadian or Ghanaian and if he's above everyone in the country, which allows him to steal Ghana's money, indulge in dubious underhand dealings to amass wealth while he points accusing fingers at others. Funny guy!

He's even declared that he's trekking to Togo, Benin and neighbouring West African countries to campaign. Such a guy thinks he's clever or powerful than everyone in the country, while he advocates for other Ghanaians abroad to be sidelined from participating in Ghana's elections.

Asiedu-Nketia is day-dreaming for sure; he thinks Ghanaians are timid or foolish. He ain't seen nothing yet! NDC intends to bus over 200,000 of foreigners to partake in the December elections. But all their wicked plans to rig the coming elections won't help them.
