If the old cedis was kept and exchanged them for the new cedis, then, there will not be any money to be used by other individuals. Which means there would have been zero balance at the Bank Of Ghana liquid assets reserves. Foolish idiot

The 2000 election was when NPP came mentioning "trillions' in Ghana politics for the first time. Deceiving Ghanaians that the then JJ Rawlings gov't blew up Ghana's money in trillions. Ghanaians were shocked and so voted out the NDC gov't, but NPP lost power 8yrs later when most Ghanaians came to know the TRUTH that they were TRICKED with lies.
Today, 2016 election, NPP is on the same trick deceiving Ghanaians that the John Mahama NDC gov't has blown billions of dollars on nothing.
In order for NPP not to be accused on the trillion allegations NPP was FAST to redenominate the Cedi by dropping 4-zeros to read lesser. So for example 1,000,000,000 will be 100,000 (1 billion is now hundred thousand). They now call this figure Ghana Cedis.

That is why I don't listen to Oman FM, Muntie FM, Radio Gold etc. Do you think a politician can take care of you for the rest of your life? Opportunities exist for young men to further their education, acquire a vocation, profession and employable skills to take advantage of the fast changing and challenging Information age. Yet the love of quick money without toil has reduced many a young man into pathetic beings who have sold themselves to corrupt politicians for luxury cars and cash as if that can sustain them for ever. Easy come easy go. What you have not suffered for you cannot manage. Poverty, bitterness, anguish and regret would be your lot if you make a career out of running down the reputations of people.
