Why has he suddenly stopped comparing ? Because Nana Addo noted that Buhari is from the North of Nigeria. The president of Nigeria is a Northerner, The President of Cote D’Ivoire is a Northerner, The president of Togo is a Northerner.
So Northerners in Ghana should be proud to have President Mahama as president of Ghana.

Are you sure you want a peaceful electioneering process?
You might have probably condemned and called others names for sounding ethnocentric when they made similar pronouncements that were deemed genocidal.
Would you agree that your statements are now worse than theirs?
Does it really matter where a president comes from, for so long as he/ she is a Ghanaian according to our constitution?
Does the infrastructural upgrade, social amenities, continuation of the social intervention programmes, educational facilities, etc, embark upon by President Mahama benefit only northerners?
Did the social intervention programmes ( NHIS, Free maternal care, infrastructural development projects, poverty alleviation fund, etc, initiated by the previous government (led by a non-northerner) benefitted only non-northerners?
"Southerners" are not in any way more Ghanaians than "Northerners" and vice versa.
It is unfortunate that mediocrity, selfishness, malice, you can name them, have become the biggest diseases affecting many Ghanaians and hampering economic growth and human development in Ghana today and not necessarily lack of resources.
We all, as Ghanaians, need to find out from within ourselves what we can do individually and collectively to promote peaceful co-existence as an important tool for national development.
We all have a responsibility to hold our political and public office holders accountable, thereby keeping them on their toes to provide equitable access to affordable healthcare, eduaction, social infrastructure, economic stability and a peaceful socio-political environment devoid of corruptible practices..
My candid opinion.
