  …The Ghana Armed Forces has denied media reports that it has assigned men to protect President John Mahama’s brother, Ibrahim Mahama.
  
  Media reports have suggested that soldiers have been detailed to guard the President’s brother after pictures of him in the company of soldiers while on a health walk emerged on social media.
  
  But in a statement to clarify the matter, the Armed Forces Command condemned the act and assured that the necessary action is being taking to address the issue.
  
  “The Military High command has taken a serious exception of the bad conduct in respect of soldiers who participated in a health walk and were alleged to have been providing close protection to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama.
  
  “The Military High Command wish to state that it has not assigned any soldier as body guard to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama. The soldiers in question were assigned as part of the security detail at the flagstaff House,” the statement signed by Director Public Affairs Colonel Aggrey-Quashie noted…..

  I truly pity mother Ghana... so our institutions can no longer work.. there was a rule that if you fail to do A u will get B, then after failing you go to court presided by one person, "who is in the group of Goat collectors" and they turn the rule around....So in effect we can go on to break rules and go see our good friends at the Court to change things for us?????

  This EC boss and her group need to sit down and do things right,they need to reflect on their actions otherwise the coming election will be chaos.

  This is victory for the ordinary Ghanaian, and a disgrace to the EC. The law specifically says that applicants must be given the chance to correct any minor anomalies before disqualifying them, But the EC never allowed for any amendments because they are supposed to be an 'independent' institution and can thus do whatever they want without any recourse to any rule - of law or otherwise. Otherwise how could this immature Charlotte girl look in the eyes of all Ghanaians and tell us: "we saw it, we liked it, so we chose it!"?
  Charlotte must know that her days are numbered. One blunder is too much for the maintenance of peace in our country. We cannot look on helplessly while she plunders Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana into turmoil. She must go as soon as practicable. She must jump or be pushed!
