I feel so embarrassed to call u my chief becus u don't speak for me & U don't represent us . We the youth of Aburi are suffering , no jobs , no hope and no role models but becus u want to go into the good books of MAHAMA u stand up and spew rubbish, nonsense and trash . What has the NDC done for the people of Aburi ?! . U have lost my last respect for u and listen , the NPP will win & u will find ur self in a tight corner . Useless & corrupt chief , shame on u . Change is coming & Nana Addo will be the next prez of Ghana becus the NDC is a total mess !

The decision is a big blow to the machinations of NDC electoral thieves and their stooge at the EC, Madam Charlotte Alata, who has been made to understand wrongly that the word "independent" EC means that she is above the law and can do anything she wants as far as elections are concerned, regardless of fair play and dictates of the basic rules in our constitution or even the EC's own rules.

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

Still holed up in the North, as a test case to see how many votes you can garner? Kuffour remarked after the second round in 2000 that he thought the people of the North were going to vote NPP because of Aliu Mahama, but he got it all round. Merely picking a Northerner as a running mate does not translate into votes. We shall see how many Bawumia would garner this time round. He might even lose in his home constituency. Political parties especially NPP are too linear in their understanding of the North, which is not half as homogenous as the South especially Ashanti Region.

Bawumia served as a Consultant to the Economic Commission of Africa between February and March 2009. Between April and October 2009, he was a Visiting Scholar at the University of British Columbia Liu Centre for Global Studies and UBC Fisheries Centre. In October 2009, he was appointed as a Fellow of the International Growth Centre (IGC), a research institute based jointly at the London School of Economics and Political Science and Oxford University that provides advice on economic growth to governments of developing countries, specifically serving as an IGC Team Member for Sierra Leone. He also served as an Advisor to the Central Bank of Sierra Leone on the redesigning of the organizational structure of the Bank and its monetary policy framework.

Between October 2009 and October 2010, he was a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for the Study of African Economies, University of Oxford, Department of Economics. In January 2011 Bawumia was appointed Resident Representative of the African Development Bank for Zimbabwe by the African Development Bank. He served in this position until reappointed as the Vice-Presidential Candidate to Nana Akufo-Addo on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party for Ghana's 2012 Presidential Election.

I travel the Kumasi - Sunyani road every week. In mid 2012, the strech of less than half a kilometre at Mankranso was closed from JUNE 2012 TO MAY 2013. Most of us were naive enough to dream the stretch was being repaired (apparently it was during election period). I traveled the same stretch this very day. 4 years on, it still remains the same. This is especially cos the big politicians travel by air. I really wonder if the Ghanaian lives matter apart from asking us to say 'JM, toa so'! What nonsense!!!

The Chief Executive of SADA has confirmed that SADA was audited and there has always been transparency. Is the Auditor General equally inefficient? Resources are very limited and so the existence of SADA does not mean all problems solved.

Dr Nana Akuffo Addo and Dr Bawumiah were around during ex-President Kufour's era when Ghana Telecom was sold because of mismanagement. Why did they not take it over and manage it very well but have to sell it.

The term mismanagement is blatant insult of workers at SADA and not a swipe at the Government.
