CORRUPT GAF NOW CONTROLLED BY IBRAHIM MAHAMA
…The Ghana Armed Forces has denied media reports that it has assigned men to protect President John Mahama’s brother, Ibrahim Mahama.

Media reports have suggested that soldiers have been detailed to guard the President’s brother after pictures of him in the company of soldiers while on a health walk emerged on social media.

But in a statement to clarify the matter, the Armed Forces Command condemned the act and assured that the necessary action is being taking to address the issue.

“The Military High command has taken a serious exception of the bad conduct in respect of soldiers who participated in a health walk and were alleged to have been providing close protection to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama.

“The Military High Command wish to state that it has not assigned any soldier as body guard to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama. The soldiers in question were assigned as part of the security detail at the flagstaff House,” the statement signed by Director Public Affairs Colonel Aggrey-Quashie noted…..

I travel the Kumasi - Sunyani road every week. In mid 2012, the strech of less than half a kilometre at Mankranso was closed from JUNE 2012 TO MAY 2013. Most of us were naive enough to dream the stretch was being repaired (apparently it was during election period). I traveled the same stretch this very day. 4 years on, it still remains the same.
