For that reason, he wondered if the NPP had the moral right to accuse Mr John Mahama of using state resources to pay bribes and buy votes, when the outcome of its own polls was questionable".
Some of us have always known that the NPP strategy of labeling the President as corrupt was a strategy to hide their own massive corruption in their party. if there was ever a doubt, Chairman Wuntomi's aide has erased all that. Now we know NPP better.

The "reference point is economic hardship",this is what I want us to underline and analyse.
We have only few days to élections but Nana Addo and Bawumia have not proven to be on top of economic matters more than Prez Mahama.It's very important to note that Nana Addo himself is asking the"Electorates to try him".Nana Addo's campaign is based on populist promises.He has not been able to propose any pragmatic policy that can improve the energy crisis and socio-economic situation.
Mind you,there are other factors,people don't necessarily vote based on economic hardship only.In Ghana tribalism plays a big role too,that's what many observers have forgotten.Effective campaign strategy also pays so if you put all your hope on the economic hardship you may get it wrong.Then again,Nana Addo himself is not ready to elaborate his economic plans in détails so how will that work in his favour?Thank you.

I travel the Kumasi - Sunyani road every week. In mid 2012, the strech of less than half a kilometre at Mankranso was closed from JUNE 2012 TO MAY 2013. Most of us were naive enough to dream the stretch was being repaired (apparently it was during election period). I traveled the same stretch this very day. 4 years on, it still remains the same. This is especially cos the big politicians travel by air. I really wonder if the Ghanaian lives matter apart from asking us to say 'JM, toa so'! What nonsense!!!
