Just see the number of youth that are completing SHS every year, they are own children, they are not getting job, you have forgotten armed force is also source of employment, any time they are doing enlistment just take you time and watch the number of people who goes there, 30 years in the service means SHS graduate would be in the house or unemployed for 5 good years. They should rather reduced the years to 20 with better end of service benefits and good condition while on pension. Don't be deceived.

WE WANT THE VOLUME TO BE CHANGED.I have been serving for six years now and my parent have not been able to visit me because no space for them to sleep.NANA we need change of volume promise and u will have our full support cuz we are all Ghanaian and those so called offices can't always behave like european. if this is not stopped we order ranks will one day stand and fight for that change

Kuffuor cautioned the NPP against selecting this man because he knows that Nana is only a braggart who can promise heaven to achieve his desires, but will fail miserably in performance. The armed forces does not need a failure like Nana.

The UN recently increased the amount per soldier by 31 dollars monthly, and good as he is, the president decided that all that money should be passed on to the soldier, hence the additional one dollar per day, which amounts to 30 dollars in a month. Do your home work and compare the percentage of what is paid to the soldier today to what was paid by the NPP in 2008. How much was the leave allowance then, and how much is it today. Did I read that this stupid stated that soldiers were not put on single spine? Is he hallucinating? Does this man know how much soldiers were earning in 2008 and what happened to soldier's salaries after the single spine in 2010? Does this idiot know that soldiers had to wait sometimes to between 18th and 20th to get their salaries during the NPP era? This moron will live to regret if we ever have an even desperate and lying Akuffo Addo as our president. May the Almighty God forbid it ever happening.

I think it is not a bad idea. It is unfortunate soldiers have to retire while young and have to look for another job again to survive. The average recruitment age as at today is 24 years. This means a soldier will be released at 49 years. Meanwhile, while in the service, a soldier can marry after 3 years. A soldier who marries after 5 years in the service will leave the service with his first born at 20 years. If this child should be in school, he or she will be in the tertiary not to talk of the second or the third that will follow. It is for this reason that I consider it as a laudable idea for the government irrespective of the party in power to consider the retiring age of these service personnel.

If you want an efficient army you don't keep an aging soldier in service.
I am an ex service man and find it hard to take this foolish talk in. Intiwul or whatever you call yourself try and visit a training section of any Army in the world and see whether there is sense in what you have just said.
Ghanaians must take note of this issue and know the lies of the NPP.

The Classic Ghana Germany which will be talked about in the next 50 year. Thanks to the wonderful fierce coaching of Native Akwasi Appiah "of St Andrew" It was evident that the Skilled playerS in our team were applying skill they had acquired through life long playing, studying, watching soccer etc and we cannot attribute their display and strenght to the white painted faced Komfo who kept shaking his head and his assistant holding his arm almost all the time.
With these sorts of powers that disgraced our national team in the World Cup woefully like that I will suggest that if this Nana has some powers from his stool he should use it in his community like it giving them extra strength to dig more descent toileets for the community or give some to the bright university students to invent tools to help cure cancer/aids or advise Mahama if he killed Atta Mills to speak up before the Election. He should also advise Mahama to go beyond what Nkrumah and Busia did for the nation ( i can t add Rawlings since what he did after 20 years is not clear) All I am saying is Nana i s old and he understands what I am saying so lets see some GOOD FROM THESE DARK STOOLS WHICH MIGHT HAVe BEEN SITTING THERE PRIOR TO NANA S BIRTH AND HAVE NEVER DONE ONE GOOD. When nana addo was appointed as AG he exactly work his talk by sending a platoon into Begro forest to be planting trees, then Capt Ahil from 1 BN was the commd and his platoon sgt was then S/Sgt Gbedemah of Recce. Nana addo has nothing for Ghana Armed Forces mark my words.
