  It is a bit of a stretch to say Ghana is the first country to reduce HIV prevalence in sub-Saharan Africa to quote the todaygh.com.
  It must be acknowledged however, that the WHO African region with some of the highest burdens of the HIV infection has done remarkably well with the number of people newly infected since 2000, dropping considerably, at least 75% fewer in Burundi, more than 50% fewer in Botswana, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Malawi, the United Republic of Tanzania and Zimbabwe and more than 40% fewer in Namibia, South Africa and Swaziland.
  This has been possible as a result of six innovations that in the African region which changed the course of the HIV epidemic.
  There is still a lot more work to be done to achieve the aims and spirit of the SDG's with respect to the HIV epidemic in the WHO African region of which Ghana is not an exception, given the fact that, there are significant challenges and throwing out such misleading generalizations does not serve any purpose.

This is a good report but because it does not paint bad picture about the country, see how silent the vituperative NPP supporters have gone, and even easier few that are here imagine the garbage they are spewing out. But this is not going to win the NPP power. It is God who makes leaders.
