Before the kind Prof Chairman is not straight, he always chew his own words. If you cannot influence the independent Electoral Commission in any way, why then do you engage yourself on issues such as bringing the EC and political bodies together to talk about peace issues? The EC would not take anything from such meetings: meaning that it is only the political bodies that would be influenced by the outcome of such meetings.
Who, then, said that the peace council can influence the political and/or any such bodies on any issues at all? |What then is the need for a peace council which has no influence on anything or anybody at all? Why then is Prof Asante receiving sitting allowances for attending peace council meetings? It is all waste of time, this peace council. Let is dismantle it before the country is plunged into chaos!
