The founder and presidential candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, has launched blistering attacks on President Mahama and his wealthy brother, Ibrahim Mahama, accusing them of stealing.

Some online portals recently reported that the multi-millionaire had purchased a 20-million dollar jet for his brother, President Mahama.

However speaking to traders at Kantamanto on Thursday as part of her Greater Accra campaign tour, the former First Lady questioned how the businessman got the money to buy a jet for his brother when he is unable to repay a bank loan.

“What sort of lie is this? How come your brother [Ibrahim Mahama] who was unable to pay a bank loan, managed to get 20 million dollars to buy a plane for you?. It means that while you are stealing, your brother is also stealing, your family is stealing , your friends are also stealing , ” Mrs Rawlings fired.

"So what should Ghanaians do? Let’s vote them out," she charged.

THE GHANA@50 PILLAGE
We cannot forget the way the NPP used the Ghana@50 cerebrations as an excuse to
ransack the coffers of the country. President Kufuor set up a Cabinet sub-Committee,
headed by his trusted chief of Staff, Mr. Kwadwo Mpianim to plan and oversee the
organization and implementation of the activities of the celebrations.
Then Kufuor appointed Dr. Charles Wireko-Brobbey of the NPP as the Chief Executive
Officer of the Secretariat of the Ghana@50 celebrations. The stage was then set for the
looting.
When the government set up a Commission of Enquiry set up to investigate the
management of the celebrations, the findings were devastating.
Although at the end of the events, Dr. Wireko-Brobbey and his team had spent GH¢97.8
million on the event, many of the projects had not been completed. For example,
Jubilee Rest stops and toilets on which the NPP claimed to have sunk millions of Ghana
Cedis were not completed or done at all. The mansions that they built to house AU were
defective. In spite of this, contractors were still owed more than GH¢12 million. In
addition, the Ghana@50 Secretariat owed the Fidelity Bank GH¢15.4 million with monies
that they distributed in contracts for top NPP leaders and their relatives for the furnishing
of those mansions. DO you know what these NPP profiteers did? Having got the
expensive contracts, they in turn hired wayside carpenters and masons to do the
botched jobs.

amounts of monies collected by the Revenue Collecting Agencies, including the
Internal Revenue Service, Customs Excise and Preventive Service , and the VAT
Service.
Whereas the Revenue Collecting Agencies paid to the government a total of
¢30,833,338,833,300 (GH¢3,083,333,883.33) the NPP government only declared
¢30,714,453,992,200 (GH¢3,071,445,399.22), concealing an amount of
¢118,884,840,500 (GH¢11,888,484.05). Where did it go? Na sika no koo hen?

I thought as an elderly man you should be more sensible than this. for the sake of politics, you want to polarise this country to win power at all cost.Now who is dividing this country? just few days I came across similar statement in Volta region where the NDC is instigating northerners against voltarian by saying that voltarians are ungrateful because they want to vote for the opposition party. Another reason is that Northeners voted for Rawlings and when is time for voltarians to do same they have turned their back against MAhama. so now under NDC there is no more freedom to join any association one wishes. You did the same thing in year 2000 incited the voltarians against the Ashantis and since then the relationship between this two tribes is very bad because of NDC. Anytime anybody tries to bring our brothers and sisters of this two tribes together this same NDC will do everything possible to destroy it. The question is why NDC continues to cause division among tribes and religion in Ghana.? All these perceive tribal tension were caused by NDC: Asante and Voltarian, Asant and Akyem, Worawora and Nkonya. Voltarians and Northeners, Dagombas and Gonjas are divisions caused by NDC in search of their self interest politics. We have one country which is Ghana so NDC members who are fonting for tribal and religious politics should be careful. We will never spare them if this country is plung into disruption.

A new missionary recruit went to Venezuela for the first time. He was struggling with the language and didn't understand a whole lot of what was going on. Intending to visit one of the local churches, he got lost, but eventually got back on track and found the place. Having arrived late, the church was already packed. The only pew left was the one on the front row.

So as not to make a fool of himself, he decided to pick someone out of the crowd to imitate. He chose to follow the man sitting next to him on the front pew. As they sang, the man clapped his hands, so the missionary recruit clapped too. When the man stood up to pray, the missionary recruit stood up too. When the man sat down, he sat down. When the man held the cup and bread for the Lord's Supper, he held the cup and bread. During the preaching, the recruit didn't understand a thing. He just sat there and tried to look just like that man in the front pew.

Then he perceived that the preacher was giving announcements. People clapped, so he looked to see if the man was clapping. He was, and so the recruit clapped too. Then the preacher said some words that he didn't understand and he saw the man next to him stand up. So he stood up too. Suddenly a hush fell over the entire congregation. A few people gasped. He looked around and saw that nobody else was standing. So he sat down.

After the service ended, the preacher stood at the door shaking the hands of those who were leaving. When the missionary recruit stretched out his hand to greet the preacher, the preacher said, in English: "I take it you don't speak Spanish."

The missionary recruit replied: "No I don't. It's that obvious?"

"Well yes," said the preacher, "I announced that the Acosta family had a new-born baby boy and would the proud father please stand up."

Kwamina says the Zongos should not listen to the NPP. Because they do not like the Zongo people. This is a deceptive talk and must be put into the dustbin where it belongs. Nana Addo, the leader of the NPP has his residence at Nima, a typical Zongo community. Dr. Bawumia has been selected on three presidential electoral periods to partner Nana. And Dr. Bawumia is a Muslim and a Zongo boy. You now see where the deception of Kwamina lies. The Awhois have ridden at the back of innocent people of Ghana to rise to prominence and wealth. The Awhois should look back to find how badly and impoverished the folks who supported them to their glory have become in life. Kwamina should get away with his nonsense.

Zongo means filthy or dirty place and is people like you and NDC that have deprived them of good amenities. Now people in zongo are saying you can't manipulate them or fool them anymore.
