Under the leadership of President Mahama, it is on record that the NHIS has been revamped and has received a strong background for the support of the larger populace.

The statistics as of the close of 2008 show an “active membership around 9.3 million”, adding that “by the end of December 2012, active membership had risen to about 10 million.”

utilization as of the close of 2008 was also around 10.5 million and had recently risen to a significant 29.6 million.

These figures clearly point to the fact the scheme is not dead as the NPP will have as believe always.

So has been the situation of the many sectors the government has worked on.

With him, construction of major facilities like the kasoa intechange, the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Project and the many.

The NPP administration in their eight (8) years in office never upgraded one single airport to the International status ...... but both the Tamale and Kumasi airports are being upgraded to the International status by the NDC government, adding up to the only existing Kotoka International Airport since time in memorial. Again, there is ongoing construction of new airport at Ho in the Volta region
