I am very happy to hear this messages from our development partners America and Great Britain,I ll continue to edge them to do an independent monitoring our the various political parties as we go to the polls soon,most of the time opposition parties ve no voice during elections,the incumbent party who control security often use the police especially to intimidate their opponent during elections,I'm looking to a day where our police chiefs ll be independent and elect the IGP themselfs free from government control.As it were both Npp and NDC ve benefited from this form of Governace system of appointing the IGP,I think the time has come for our develop partners to help put in place international best practices in this direction I believe ll solve most of the tension during elections,I believe that if the government of the NDC had excecise some responsibility here this whole violence attack at the house of the opposition leaders house could've been avoided.Just listen to some of their leaders talk and you ll understand they ve no respect for the opposition just because they feel the police is at their side so questions who's Nana Addo is common on their lips but forgot that John Mahama passed through this same process to become president of Ghana.The best thing America & UK can do for Ghana is to advice reforms after election,to make independent he Ghana police service who re alway at the call of the executive including the BNI.All manner of antics re on the way on the 7th December and want them to do independent monitoring of the precess because some NDC member re on record in a video recording that on the day of election some people may not be able to come out of their homes let alone vote.The NDC did this just to provoke and force a statement from the opposition leader in other to tag him a violent person.

I sometimes wonder how some people could allow themselves to be used by these political parties to perpetuate violence.
