NDC HATE ZONGO AND ANGLO COMMUNITIES WITH PASSION
After 19 years of P/NDC rule they could not construct even 1cm of tarred road in Koforidua Zongo even though these zongo people have faithfully been voting for the Akatamanso. What about Koforidua Anglo Town? The same shameful story was replicated. In less than two years of Kufuor's administration, the Water works-Zongo-Anglo Town- Minyila stretch of road was constructed yet the NDC succeeded in deceiving the Zongo people that Kufuor did not do anything for them.
When Atta Mills came to power in 2009, they hurriedly went to Anglo Town to clear some places claiming that they were also going to
construct roads in Anglo Town and in the process, they destroyed people's shops and businesses but they weren't able to construct a centimeter of road in Anlo Town. A lady, called Agie, who lost her business because of the hurried demolition has gone blind till date out of shock. Many other victims have relocated to Accra to practice odd jobs and some of the boys have left the country to North Africa through the dessert. This is how destructive NDC could be to Zongo and Anglo communities.

Unlike some MPs who hardly fight for their areas and are always quiete, a person like Atta Kyea will always fight for his people and he has every right to fight for his people,what he said is in the interest of his people,his people may like it,the Krobos may not like it but he does not owe anybody apology,he has every right as a member of parliament to fight for his area,let us allow people to freely express themselves,some of us were against having a university campus at Hohoe at the expense of other deprived areas for various reasons including the area or the town already having other high institutions but Hohoe people did not ask us to apologize to them,we were fighting for our areas and other areas.
That demonstration was not necessary,leave the man alone,I'm not a supporter of Atta Kyea but we need to stop asking people to say what we like to hear.

Remember aside making laws parliamentarians are to influence decisions such as these that will inure to the benefit of his constituents who voted him there. By the way I am a Krobo myself and would like to know where the MP for the Krobo area was when Atta Akyea was lobbying the house for the university to be sited in his constituency?

Believe me if the ndc has a better choice they will not bring the university to somanya bcos our MPs are mouthlazy ple who can't talk in parliament. ROAD NETWORK:
Road network at the end of 2000 stood at 37,321 km. The NPP increased it to 68,134 km. As at last year, it stood at 71,063.

The NPP thus added 30,813 km. The NDC as at the end of 2015 had added just 3000 km.

The NPP did all these with lower taxes and fewer loans without oil revenue. NPP left Ghana's debt at 9 billion cedis and that includes all debt from the days of Nkrumah. NDC has moved the debt in just 8 years from 9 billion to 110 billion in 8 years.

NPP ruled with a total revenue of just 20 billion, NDC with 240 billion cedis.
