After 19 years of P/NDC rule they could not construct even 1cm of tarred road in Koforidua Zongo even though these zongo people have faithfully been voting for the Akatamanso. What about Koforidua Anglo Town? The same shameful story was replicated. In less than two years of Kufuor's administration, the Water works-Zongo-Anglo Town- Minyila stretch of road was constructed yet the NDC succeeded in deceiving the Zongo people that Kufuor did not do anything for them.
When Atta Mills came to power in 2009, they hurriedly went to Anglo Town to clear some places claiming that they were also going to
construct roads in Anglo Town and in the process, they destroyed people's shops and businesses but they weren't able to construct a centimeter of road in Anlo Town. A lady, called Agie, who lost her business because of the hurried demolition has gone blind till date out of shock. Many other victims have relocated to Accra to practice odd jobs and some of the boys have left the country to North Africa through the dessert. This is how destructive NDC could be to Zongo and Anglo communities.

The EC is still behaving suspiciously, and it is only the presence of social media that can check her folly and excesses. As things stand now, there is no chance for the IGP to close any part of the social media on election day, so Mr President, wise up and stay away from that controversy. This is not the same as the issue with the biometric verification, when you, forgetting that you were still the president of Ghana, foolishly suggested half wayb through election day in 2012 that even though we had wasted so much resources on acquiring the technology for the elections, anybody whom the machines could not verify must be allowed to vote. This brought about most of the chaos that resulted in the election petition.
Please do not start anything you cannot finish. We are now wiser than 2012. Social media is a no go area for you and the IGP, because Ghanaians will rise up and resist your every move to rig the elections through any means, social media not excluded.

When Mahama talks about fake news on social media declaring results and the need to authenticate sources, tell him results of elections are not declared on social media but by the EC from the polling station, constituency collation center to the national collation center. That is the source of the results which he can cross check as his loss trickles in and not fake news on social media.
There will be no blackout for NDC rigging in this election cycle. Let's be clear, Mahama will not have the opportunity to rig the elections through social media blackout.
