  If the ruling NDC government know how UK and USA dealt with Abacha they wouldn't have allowed this stupid Twum Boafo to engage in this barbaric discourse. I know by now the USIS is busily gathering information on the NDC crooks and I would not be surprised if very soon these powerful nations allow dogs to sniff the pants of the Attorney General of Ghana.

  If the proposed program outlined by the chief of staff is meant to pacify Asante people, it would be an indication of Mahama's shallow knowledge of the short political history of Ghana. The Asante people have very short memory span but always think they deserve special treatment. Kwame Nkrumah did more development work to benefit the Ashanti region but received the least amount of appreciation from the people in that region during and after his presidency. Soon after independence, the CPP administration constructed the Accra-Kumasi road, that was followed by the siting of KNUST and KATH in Kumasi. Yet, to date, the Asante people have not stopped talking about a 3-bedroom house Nkrumah built for his wife in Egypt on a donated plot of land.
  I don't want to believe Mahama's administration can accomplish all the items detailed by his chief of staff, if it happens, the Asante people will still use his ethnic origin against him, as long as he is not one of them. Be careful what you ask for, Mahama, because you might get it and some more.
