Ghanaians should be realistic. If you play football without scoring goals, you can't go anywhere. Avram Grant must stop inviting Jordan Ayew to the national team.

This is the best point raised so far that I have read on Ghanaweb! Let us be truthful instead o f being emotional and basing our hopes on the past glorious days. When Abedi Pele and Tony Yeboah we trealking about lack of talents people we insulting them for saying the truth. The bottom line is we don't have consistent strikers or scorers or poachers, period! We are not going anywhere with this generation! There is no competition to be selected because the League suckes!

Statistically, 80percent of all goals.scored in soccer are.from the box. Gyan knows this unlike the other relatively inexperienced Ghanaian forwards and this is what separates strikers like gyan, kpb,.dede.from the rest......who like to shoot aimlessly from outside the box

Say, good question and you are absolutely right we should not rely on two players. Only problem is, we do not seem to be able to produce adequate world class replacements for the big guns. When you are unable to do that, then you are stuck with the kind of situation we are in now when we cannot win a game nor score the needed goals that these two guys give us. We are therefore compelled to rely on these guys at all times, unfortunately.

Jonathan mensah failed to clear the ball or mark the opponent which resulted in a goal.He can never ever be John Mensah's replacement trust me.
Atsu was playing like a charity match to me.He kept loosing it and chassing his own shadow.Fuck Harrison Afful for his stupidity.

Harrison Afful has no place in the team. His first team selection is indicative of the lack of talent in the team. I have been very slow to admit Avram Grant's defectiveness as coach for the Black Stars but I must admit he's just too lazy to be effective. He has no sense of urgency to perform at the highest level of world class football and perhaps this is just another job for an old coach who is in the twilight years of his coaching career.
We can't however put all the blame on the coach. It's said that when you fail to plan you are in effect planning to fail. For many years we've not made any investments in the development of the game. We are just depending on raw talent. Just look at the local league and you'll understand why Harrison Afful , Atsu , Jordan, etc, get first team selection. We are trying to reap where and what we've never sowed. High performance in sports is not just wishful thinking. There's more to it than this mere joke and pretense we're currently tickling ourselves with.

If Asamoah Gyan is 30 years and have played for the black stars for 16 years, that means he played for the national team at the age of 14. How many years did he played for Liberty? He is my great favourite striker, but he's too old than his age. As a matter of fact, if we didn't find a replacement, it will worsen our present plight. Consider his age. Jordan Ayew is not a striker. He is even soft. Which of the club's he played was he recognised as a striker? We need fast and strong guy there. The question is, which of these so called professional players is playing a well recognised club? I salute you Dede Ayew.

How could Kwadwo Asamoah, Dede Ayew and Asamoah Gyan all got injury at the same period? Every body want to play and make money. They are playing sakawa but not football. Jordan Ayew is too soft to be our striker. We need fast and strong guy there. No defender see him as dangerous. Apart from Dede Ayew, who is dangerous again in the team? GFA should scout for at least two strikers, strong and fast. Jordan Ayew cannot even play shot. They don't even get matured before they go to play professional teams abroad.
