If you are a worker ask for permission to close early to vote or come in few hours late to work so you can vote. Being at work reduces mayhem as electorate are asked to go home after voting and come back if they have any for counting after 7pm. Those in line before 7pm can can vote so why holiday?

Sometimes it is difficult to understand some people. No Nation celebrates elections day as public holiday for economic reasons. After 2012 elections NPP went to court which took 8 good months, putting financial stress on the economy, before they accepted the their failure. This same people complain about the slow growth economy everyday. People should step outside their self centered mode to be a bit patriotic.
I incline to suspect that NPP people think they are going to win the elections so if the day is declared public holiday then it is like "WATE FUFUO NA ATO EKWAE MU". Wish you luck.

Until I cast my vote. What is the importance of going to work the whole year and the economy is mismanaged by incompitence government at the end of the day?.

THERE IS NO NEED FOR A HOLIDAY,AFTER ALL IT WON'T TAKE ONE THE WHOLE DAY TO VOTE. THE QUESTION IS DOES THIS GUY THINK OF HOW MUCH THE GOVERNMENT LOOSES BY GIVING A HOLIDAY?
