In 2012 he would have been contested and definitely he'd have lost the presidential primaries. NPP would have presented him for presidency only on his own merit.

Mr Mahama himself knows this and that is exactly what I heard him alluding to on his campaign tour of one of the northern regions. He himself knows that he does not qualify judging from the quality of candidates the NPP abounds with.

Bawumia in my candid opinion is a good quality material and should he present himself for the contest he could be considered based on his competence vis-à-vis the quality of candidates available not necessarily because he is of northern extraction.

Bawumia in my humble opinion has proved to everybody in Ghana that given the opportunity he can do it. I will in any day vote for him but of course my opinion will be different from other people's. At the end of the day it's majority that wins and so other people who have different and weightier considerations than mine will carry the day. It's not just because Bawumia is a northerner NPP delegates will vote for him.

I am an Ewe from Keta in the Volta region but I like NPP kind of democracy.

It's not in the constitution of any party in Ghana that after four or eight year mandate of the president his vice automatically becomes the next presidential candidate. What is that meant to be? The problem with this country is that most of the so-called intellectuals, clergy and the media are so biased that they only see wrong from one side even if the same was perpetrated earlier by the other side. Nana Addo was on the same platform with Kuffuor when he made that statement and he was so happy and full of smiles because it would enure to his benefit. Tribal propaganda will be a fruitless mission as far as the reality is concerned.The reality confronting as today including northerners is weather Mahama have the capacity to function effectively as a president.Governance goes way beyond propaganda,adhoc,confused short circuit measures.A leader in my opinion should be selfless with empathy for his suffering people.There is no doubt that the president and few closed associates are massively enriching themselves whiles majority of Ghanaians wallow in poverty with rising unemployment and economic slump.The business of governance is not about political corruption with free dissipation of the country's financial resources that have seen criminal idle hands riding expensive luxurious cars and putting up mansion complexes at the expense of the hard working Ghanaian tax payer.The President penchant for corruption obviously portray him as somebody deeply conniving and condoning in corruption as a primary beneficiary.It will be extremely difficult for any person who lack the moral upright as far as graft and criminality is concerned to rule satisfactorily.There is no doubt corruption and criminality have been legalized under the Mahama Government by deliberately and consciously compromising structures and systems in the process of governance and in our public institutions today that allows millions of Ghanaian cedis to be looted in organized crime.Any government opposed to rule of law against defenseless citizens particularly in instances of corruption and illegalities is technically autocratic running a Banana Republic.Of course the incumbent Mahama Government have only two viable but illegal means to election victory considering the level of despondency and anger against his administration;vote buying/rigging and propaganda/lies including whipping tribal sentiments.Even in the midst of this the suffering masses anger will manifest by voting him out against all odds come December 7th.The danger to civil war is not the opposition NPP but the poor masses rising up against the government if there is any attempt to forcibly clang unto power.That is why it is extremely important for the Electoral Commission and the security apparatus to remain very neutral and professional in ensuring fair,transparent election.Sensational prophecies and bias journalism is unnecessary at this point in time because the people will speak through the ballot box.For some of us this is a care study to test our understanding of democracy and the maturity of the Ghanaian voter as far as objective,discerning,issue based voting is concerned.Should the NDC win in the midst of all these obvious poor governance,mismanagement of the economy and plunder of the Country's resources,it will be an indictment to our intellect and sensibilities as a people despite the relatively high illiteracy rate often capitalized on by rogue politicians.It will be an indictment because educated folks should begin getting our illiterate brothers informed about the essence of issue based,development oriented politics not just winning elections to personally enjoy the benefits and rewards of political power albeit grand deception of ignorant folks with pittance in the form of few goodies and money that cannot sustain meaningful development.

Straight flight from tamale to mecca. Sawla fufulso road. Damango road. There are so many achievement in road sector go and check your fact. Buipe cement factory. I can't mention all. JM has done marvelous in the northern region more than any president. When it comes to peace in northern region no body can match him. Four years now the president has been able to keep peace between andanis and abudus. John mahama is reminding them the history. Who bring war between abudus and an Danis. But JM for the past 4years he bring them together. There is no any conflict between these two tribe. The man has done so much. Almighty Allah will reward him bi iznillah. Just as I predicted victory for Trump and republicans when evem opinion polls were against him, I will predict this year's election. NDC will loose this year's election not because President Mahama is not doing enough. He doing everything a president will do for a nation. The greatest mistake NDC did, was voting out Dr Kwabena Agyei. He should have never been changed. Dr Kofi Poturphhy is not tactical in the position. He is making Mahama suffering with his campaign by sometimes making him like a serial caller. He is, a loosing chairman.

Mahama is a disgrace to be called a Ghanaian president. How can he say his brothers in the north should all vote for him because he is one of them. If voting is based on tribal lines then why is he campaigning in other regions that are not part of the north. If he really has any respect for Northerners he wouldn't have supervised the stealing of the SADA money that was meant to develop the well being of his so called brothers. Mahama has no message for Ghanaians and will be remembered as the most corrupt and visionless president ever.
