A lot of the loot went to people at the Ministry of Finance and the Attorney General's Department. The NDC administration, NDC party operatives and NDC party leaders all benefited from this criminal act. As a country, we need to stand up and uphold the rule of law if we ever want to see this great country to progress. We are kidding ourselves to think Woyome will name and shame his accomplices.

Woyome hid the 51.2m in TBills at average of 20% since he got the money more than 5 years ago it would have accrued 100% interest, another cool 51.2m. So he has doubled the money already and he wants to double it again by insisting that he will repay from 2017 over another 5 years. That will give him a cool 102.4m in total. The annoying part is that he wants to pay 5m every 4 month (90-day Tbill) for the 5 years. THIS IS FINANCIAL ENGINEERING AT ITS BEST!
Dominic Ayine Deputy AG has admitted on JoyFM that "the correct position of the law" is for simple interest to be charged on the recovery of debts order by a court whether it is stated in the judgement or not. So why is the AG only concerned about recovering only 51.2m. Are they breaking the law all over again in favour of Woyome. We all assume that Woyome has already shared the money. My gut feeling is that he has engineered it on the behalf of his accomplices for a much larger boots, for as long as possible till repaying the principal becomes chicken feed. Unfortunately he has robbed the taxpayer to lend to the taxpayer again at a huge profit.

A debt collector and debts...It is a fact that when there is an arrangement between a debtor and owner and time is fixed for the payment of the money owned none of the parties have the right to alter the agreement if none of the parties breach the agreement.
The state has given Mr. Alfred Agbeshi Woyome time to repay the GHC31plus million paid by the state to him.
It is on record that the state did not pay the amount to him at a go, thus he also revers the right to pay it by installment.
It is therefore a breach of agreement for the state to take Woyome to another forum to demand what an agreement has been reached already.
Thus it is legally right for the Attorney General refusing to be part of breaching that agreement, by which the state will lose what it intend to retrieve through an agreement.
It is on record that the state has already preach the agreement by not taking the contract to parliament to be ratified.
The Supreme Court itself is in preach of its ruling that gave the right to the state and Woyome to reach an agreement on how the amount will be paid. The agreement has been reached and the court has been informed about it. So the Supreme Court is not right to ruled that Woyome should be questioned on how he intends to settle an issue which has been agreed upon and is in its bosom. The Supreme Court is thus in breach of its own ruling.
