The constitution of Ghana demand that when a sitting president dies his vice takes over. It's not in the constitution of any party in Ghana that after four or eight year mandate of the president his vice automatically becomes the next presidential candidate. So for John Mahamah to go about with the drivel that NPP did not allow Aliu Mahamah to succeed John Kuffuor shows the president as a fool or very much uninformed. Which is an insult to the sensibilities of Ghanaians.

Mahama is behaving like a sorcerer who after conjuring up some fatal spirits, have lost power to control them. That assertion that NPP will abandon Bawumia was too much below the belt. Mahama must be aware that he emerged as NDC leader by default, through the death (or murder) of Atta Mills. For him to make that assertion is pure desperation borne out of the fact that he can lose the upcoming elections.

He has exhausted the little reservoir of cognitive, rational thinking, and is now making inroads to primordial, atavistic politics.

They are killing original intention of the founder. UG, Legon is pulling away from KNUST

The fact that you are a Vice President does not mean that you should automatically be chosen as a flagbearer. There is no doubt, however, that Dr Bawumia will be defeated in the next NPP's primaries. The man is so good! Hugely intelligent! He has really won the hearts of all Ghabaians. He deserves to be the next President after Nana Akuffo Addo. Did this bias political science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) called Dr Charles Marfo hear what former president Kuffuor said just last week at a political rally at Akropong? All the NPP gurus, including Nana Addo, were present when Kuffuor said that the people of Akwapim and Akyem should vote for Nana Addo because he is their SON. What was that meant to be. It was captured vividly on camera and played on television yet this idiot of a lecturer and his ethnocentric tricksters pretended not to have seen or heard it. When Osafo Marfo, just a couple of months ago, made the famous statement that Northern, Upper East and West, Volta and Greater Accra regions have no resources, and thus no one from those regions should be allowed to lead this country, where was this stupid lecturer and his ilk? Yes, they decided not to hear, much less comment on it. A few years back Ursula Owusu said that northerners are only fit for heading goats, sheep and cattle, and yet we never from this lunatic in academic gown. By their fruits shall they all be known for their bias and ethnocentric postures which they unsuccessfully attempt to hide. They will all be shamwd, come 7th December, God willing.

As President Mahama said, it was done to the late Vice President Aliu Mahama. When he applied to be nominated flag-bearer, the unprintable insults were many. No wonder, he lost. What is there to say that should NPP win, the same will not be done to him?

Dr. Charles Marfo should stop being hypocritical and face the truth. Unless he did not know about Late Aliu Mahama's ordeal; even that is not tenable because President Mahama explained it so its hypocrisy. Dr Bawumia should advise himself of the mother pig telling her baby when the baby questioned her about her long snout that you too go grow.

Deceive yourself to think so because it wouldn't have happened under any circumstance. Remember there was love lost between the two after Mahama betrayed Mills in the Brazilian EMBRAER Plane purchase. He was being investigated per a report by then Attorney General until Mills was impressed upon to stop lest it brings the party and government down. That was one reason why Koku Anyidoho treated then Vic-Prez Mahama as rags. NPP is democratic and so we choose on merit and not autocratic. Irrespective of your status you have to earn a position. Because of NDC's ignorance and allowing Mahama to go unopposed, that's why we as a nation are in this poor state.

Because we have people like Asiedu Nkatie,Felix Owusu Kwakye, Kofi Adams, Kwaku Boahen, Otukono, Allotey Jacob, Yami, Kwaku Anyindoho etc. such characters ruling Ghana for their own pocket; do you expect Ghana to develop?
