The constitution of Ghana demand that when a sitting president dies his vice takes over. It's not in the constitution of any party in Ghana that after four or eight year mandate of the president his vice automatically becomes the next presidential candidate. So for John Mahamah to go about with the drivel that NPP did not allow Aliu Mahamah to succeed John Kuffuor shows the president as a fool or very much uninformed. Which is an insult to the sensibilities of Ghanaians.

No disrespect to Nana Akufo-Addo but he is too old and lacks critical ideas to the development of Ghana and for that matter, Africa as a continent. The world is advancing with information technology and Africa must catch up as quickly as possible. This means that Ghana or Africa needs young and vibrant leaders with fresh ideologies to unite and form stronger ties among the people in other to combat diseases and security issues facing the continent.
Nana Akufo Addo's character and chastisement infused with a 1st and 2nd world war mentality would harm Ghana so badly that it will retrogress everything Dr Kwame Nkrumah and all those great African leaders fought for.
A great leader needs to be seen inspiring, motivating, educating and helping the people to better their lives and not inciting hate and dividing the people with bunch of lies in the name of politics. Considering Nana Akufo-Addo's age one would think that he would come up with strategic plans to better the lives of the old in society and strengthen the pension scheme but he has never ever mention the word pension nor even scheme.
Leadership is action infused with positive results and Nana Akufo Addo lacks credibility to be a leader for Ghana and for that matter Africa. Ghana be wise and vote for a young and a vibrant leader with a great integrity to bring strategic development.
I pray for mentality change and long live for Ghana. May GOD bless us all!

I saw this while serving Ghanbatt 6 HQ[Ecomog, Liberia]. Troops under command never even saw the proxy forms. These were returned whole on behalf of troops voting en bloc for the NDC.

John Mahama if you observe since he took office has sort to corrupt various governmental institution to his benefit,he thinks he smart with this moves but it's dangerous because we Ve all come to accept that it's only through popular votes that one can be elected to the office of president or parliamentarians.If we don't work to preserve this democratic models and allow NDC and John Mahama to continue this way we ll soon find ourselves at war,the security services who must be uphold and protect democracy can refuse to this call to national duty such as this then in the bases that they re not sure their wishes ll be carried out then we re in trouble.John Mahama is digging his own grave unknown to him and it's only time ll tell should all this his evil plans fail and let no one say he's being witch hunt because some of the crimes going on if proven can not go unpunished.More so the IGP has proved that there's no way he can be neutral as far as he remains the IGP knowing that if the NDC loses he's going out per our laws but I don't blame him but mr Kufour because same complains were given when Npp was in opposition and after winning power through struggles and deaths,he came and instead of changing the game he rather enjoyed appointing IGP,till he left office.Former president Kufour failed by betraying the trust of the people,if he had not decided to support Alan to creat confusion in the Npp that made the party lose in 2008,so whatever suffering we re going through is as a result of kufours wickedness and greed,I voted for him in all the elections he took part including the one that made him president but God ll punish him for his betrayal.
