Satan destroys and kills - God restores and gives life
The real enemy of the Gospel - the good news of Jesus Christ - is Satan (also called Lucifer), the powerful leader of the fallen angels who rebelled against God and who were cast out of heaven.
Satan opposes God and all who follow his rule of peace and righteousness (moral goodness) on the earth.
Jesus calls Satan a "murderer" who turns brother against brother and the "father of lies" who twists the truth and speaks falsehood (John 8:44). Satan not only opposes God's rule, he seeks to destroy all who would obey God.
Satan will use any means possible to turn people away from God. He tempts people through envy, deception, hatred, and fear to provoke hostility towards those who follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
What is Jesus' response to hostility and persecution? Love, forbearance, and forgiveness. Only love - the love which is rooted in God's great compassion and faithfulness - can overcome prejudice, hatred, and envy.
God's love purifies our heart and mind of all that would divide and tear people apart. Knowing God as our compassionate Father and loving God's word of truth and righteousness (moral goodness) is essential for overcoming evil.
Jesus tells us that we do not need to fear those who would oppose us or treat us harshly for following the Lord Jesus. He promises to give us supernatural strength, wisdom, and courage as we take a stand for our faith and witness to the truth and love of Christ.
The Gospel is good news for the whole world because it is God's eternal word of truth, love, pardon, and salvation (being set free from sin and evil) through his Son, Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus has won the victory for us through his atoning death on the cross for our sins and his rising from the grave - his resurrection power that brings abundant life and restoration for us. That is why the Gospel has power to set people free from sin, fear and death, and bring peace, pardon, and new life.

What is the time table for this bogus Policy if he wins?Nobody builds factories for just jobs,factories are built for profits but North or South as Nana Addo is professing.No entrepreneur will invest his money into building factories for propaganda.They build factories where they can get more and quick profits.Private entrepreneurs don't care how many people are jobless, they only care about making more profits and that's all.Nana Addo is deceiving poor Ghanaians with this bogus Policy.The earlier NDC neutralise this stupid Policy on technical grounds the better.Thank you.

Theory of Comparative Advantage and availability of market. First of all, what comparative advantage has Ghana as a country got in the production of a particular good over a country say Ivory Coast or Nigeria? A small country like Ghana cannot simply start producing similar goods that are comparatively cheaper to produce in nearby countries. Our population cannot take in all these goods and we would not be able to compete favourably outside if we fail to identify the markets first to see where we have comparative advantage. Nigeria can absorb and consume most of what its produces because of its population, which makes the factories self sustaining. Ghana cannot do that. The population is far too small to take in what would be produced, assuming no market is found outside. This assumption is very important. There would be a glut of goods and products from all these factories and the inability of consuming them locally would make recovery of the cost of production impossible leading to a collapse of these factories. The solution is to identify areas in which Ghana has comparative advantage and make trade deals with fellow ECOWAS countries to trade among ourselves. In this way, Ghana can supply Nigeria goods from Ghanaian factories and vice versa. After that, regions, or areas within the country where the factors of production are favourable could be identified for siting factories. A multiplicity of factories in every District would lead to over production which in itself a disincentive. See what the present oil glut has caused Saudi Arabia. A policy like this would need a buy in by all Political parties in a forum like the New Year lectures for all aspects to be discussed in order to have a buy in by all Ghanaians. The politics and propaganda around it and the way Nana Addo is propagating it reduces it to a vote buying trick.
