The founder and presidential candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, has launched blistering attacks on President Mahama and his wealthy brother, Ibrahim Mahama, accusing them of stealing.

Some online portals recently reported that the multi-millionaire had purchased a 20-million dollar jet for his brother, President Mahama.

However speaking to traders at Kantamanto on Thursday as part of her Greater Accra campaign tour, the former First Lady questioned how the businessman got the money to buy a jet for his brother when he is unable to repay a bank loan.

“What sort of lie is this? How come your brother [Ibrahim Mahama] who was unable to pay a bank loan, managed to get 20 million dollars to buy a plane for you?. It means that while you are stealing, your brother is also stealing, your family is stealing , your friends are also stealing , ” Mrs Rawlings fired.

"So what should Ghanaians do? Let’s vote them out," she charged.

The constitution of Ghana demand that when a sitting president dies his vice takes over. It's not in the constitution of any party in Ghana that after four or eight year mandate of the president his vice automatically becomes the next presidential candidate. So for John Mahamah to go about with the drivel that NPP did not allow Aliu Mahamah to succeed John Kuffuor shows the president as a fool or very much uninformed. Which is an insult to the sensibilities of Ghanaians.

How dreadful is their case, who see the wrath of God advancing towards them, without being able to turn it aside, or escape it! Such will be the horrible situation of the wicked; nor can words express the anguish of their feelings, or the greatness of their terror. Oh that they would now take warning, and before it be too late, flee for refuge to lay hold upon that hope set before them in the gospel! God impressed these fears on the Canaanites, and dispirited them. This gave a short rest to the Israelites, and circumcision rolled away the reproach of Egypt. They were hereby owned to be the free-born children of God, having the seal of the covenant. When God glorifies himself in perfecting the salvation of his people, he not only silences all enemies, but rolls back their reproaches upon themselves

My whole family vote NDC in 2012 but never again. These people think we are stupid. We cannot wait for Dec 7 to vote. Once bitten twice shy. We will change govt every 4 year until politician start to respect Ghanaians.
