If anybody is tribslistic, it is John Dramani Mahama. A look at his team tells you that, although he is married to an Akan, he is the most tribalistic leader Ghana has ever had. For him to turn roumd and accuse Nana Addo and /or Akans of tribalism is laughable. We don't want such a divisive person as leader of a nation made up of such diverse culture. If not a consummate liar, why would someone with a PHD in Econs not explain 1 District 1 Dam laughable idiocy. Even an O/L Econs student knows of the "Factors of location of industries" and that political consideration is not one of such factors. Foolish lying Bawumia should be ashamed to be associated with such disgrace. May be his PhD is in Lying!!!

JDM is 1m% right. Bawumia has 0% chance of winning a leadership contest against an Ashanti/Akyem candidate. We saw it with Alieu where the only votes he got were from Northern delegates.

Bawumia should know when it comes to such a contest, all his lies will be forgotten and the decision in NPP will be on where he comes from. The Akyem/ Ashanti cabal will then refer to Bawumia as a PEPENI. And the day is sure to come as the sun will set today and rise again tomorrow.

The question is not whether Northerners were given the opportunity to serve in the NPP administration or not, as Daniel Adomako is said in this report to have argued. The question is whether or not the NPP would allow Northerners to play such a leadership role as President of the Republic of Ghana. And President Mahama citing as an example of what the NPP did to the late former Vice-president Aliu Mahama emphatically said 'No' because the NPP had dumped him and went for Akufo-Addo instead. It's true the NPP will never choose a Northerner, who also happens to be a Muslim, as its candidate to be elected President of Ghana.

This is a fact. So, those like the Chairman of the National Peace Council, Rev. Dr. Asante, the Rev. Dr. Apuni of the Christian Council of Ghana and all the other NPP surrugates who are criticising President Mahama of making an ethnocentric statement must desist from such hypocritical criticisms. They know fully well that the NPP will never nominate and fully support a Muslim from northern Ghana to become president of the country. Besides, what's at all harmful in President Mahama's statement? Why did the same people who're now criticising the President didn't criticise those who had previously made more damaging and divisive ethnocentric statements? Where were they when Kenneth Agyapong, MP for Assin Central, for example, called on Akans to kill Ewes and Gas in the Ahanti Region? Away with your hypocrisy and double standards!!!

He has therefore disqualified himself as a candidate for the presidency in the coming elections. If he is honest with himself and Ghanaians, he should not go to other regions to campaign for people to bote for him. Most of the prople in the other regions are not northerners do he has no business there. But knowing Mahama, he will go and campsign in the south.
