How come GH51 could be paid for one individual as a commission or debt payment. This is what is happening in a poor country like Ghana. One could easily encounter the plight of many children from poorer background being deprived from their basic education. Some are even leaving their education uncompleted and Govt research finding is not being taken very seriously. and leaving some not completing their education ending as street hawkers and Kayakaya ladies. Yet Govt under Atta Mills allowed this to happen. Indeed this example shown how weak and feeble late President Atta Mills capabilities were. Mahama is not a thief but may or may not be part of Woyome mess. Those who also looted the money are all hiding and waiting to be called to cough up their loot. Betty Mould Iddirisu and others will be smoked out when Amidu gets the chance to go ahead with his Oral examination of Woyome.

“Please take notice that the 1st Defendant Judgment Creditor [Attorney General] herein has this day [26th day of October 2016] discontinued the present application to orally examine the 3rd defendant Judgment Debtor [Alfred Agbesi Woyome] with liberty to reapply.”

The AG says her outfit is in discussions with the Debtor regarding arranging a schedule of repayments. Presumably the defendant does not have the said amount residing in his bank account to return the same to the State.

Mr Amidu says this is a trick employed by the Government to forgive the debt. If the AG has reserved the liberty to reapply to the Court, Amidu's crusade to retrieve his so called gargantuan loss to the State sounds a bit quixotic.

The very same Amidu said he was going to make sure the 2.5% oil concession granted to EO which has now been sold to Tullow for $300m would be reversed. He's gone quiet on the matter.

It appears he picks and chooses which corruption crusade to fight as and when his political temperament determines.
