There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

Did he sacrifice himself for the victory of his boss or was he sacrificed? In a country where no one takes the sudden death of young men at their prime as an act of the Almighty, the NPP needs to do a thorough soul searching. The arty needs to call for all night vigils for not only for an electoral victories but to prevent these mysterious deaths in the party. This is one too many and has set so many tongues waging.

First of all if our medical response systems were good, most of these accident victims may have been alive. Or if the various agencies responsible for various inspections to keep us safe did their work, then there would be less of these accidents. Those are the things we need to worry about and not our primitive and stupid thinking about "sacrifice".

A whole President employs a 'prophet' to advise him on spiritual issues - at the expense of the state! A young and vibrant man dies in his sleep and instead of asking intelligent questions about the cause of death, the first thing we think about is ritual killing, juju and all the trash that comes with it. Come on, fellow Ghanaians. When are we going to THINK OBJECTIVELY and stop all this dependency on spiritualism and fetishism that have enslaved us??

One these politicians do not take their health into consideration and call for a break. Roaming from town to towns and sleeping on one's own bed plus eating anything is a hazard to health. They should call a break a break.

Two, most of these accidents that occur are needless. Convoy accidents especially, drivers speed so much on these bad roads. Better be there late than be there sorry...accidents. Overspeeding kills!

So sad to loose a young vibrant soul through this silly game of politics.
