Ghanaians are desperate for a change. Well that is my gut feelings. I think Nana Addo Dankwa is the last hope for every Ghanaian. The situation is dire and those in government are desperate to cling to power for so many reasons.
If you are near the NPP and for that matter Nana Addo please send this message to him: GHANAIANS WILL NEVER FORGIVE HIM IF HE FAILS TO DELIVER. AT HIS AGE, HE DOESN'T NEED ANYTHING. No disrespect to Nana Akufo-Addo but he is too old and lacks critical ideas to the development of Ghana and for that matter, Africa as a continent. The world is advancing with information technology and Africa must catch up as quickly as possible. This means that Ghana or Africa needs young and vibrant leaders with fresh ideologies to unite and form stronger ties among the people in other to combat diseases and security issues facing the continent.
Nana Akufo-Addo's character and chastisement infused with a 1st and 2nd world war mentality would harm Ghana so badly that it will retrogress everything Dr Kwame Nkrumah and all those great African leaders fought for.
A great leader needs to be seen inspiring, motivating, educating and helping the people to better their lives and not inciting hate and dividing the people with bunch of lies in the name of politics. Considering Nana Akufo-Addo's age one would think that he would come up with strategic plans to better the lives of the old in society and strengthen the pension scheme but he has never ever mention the word pension nor even scheme.
Leadership is action infused with positive results and Nana Akufo-Addo lacks credibility to be a leader for Ghana and for that matter Africa. Ghana be wise and vote for a young and a vibrant leader with a great integrity to bring strategic development for all Africans.
I pray for mentality change and long live for Ghana. May GOD bless us all!

Propagandist Bawumiah is behaving as if when governments come into power, they are given working capital by some father christmas in which case they the NPP were given a small amount (20 billion cedis) whilst the NDC received a huge amount (240 billion).
Rather, it is a government's own competence in handling the economy that determines how much money they will have available for them. Thus if Bawumiah is saying that Mahama's NDC had 240 billion cedis while they the NPP had only 20 billion cedis, he is only admitting how incompetent they were at managing the economy.
No doubt Mahama has been phenomenal in undertaking development projects - roads and interchanges/flyovers, schools, hospitals, markets, pipe-borne water, expansion of electricity, airports, harbours, comms centres, retooling of security services, affordable housing etc. Besides, due to the good leadership of President Mahama, the NDC is excellent in internally building peace and democracy which has overflown into the country to make Ghana an icon of peace and good governance. The NPP does not come anywhere near the NDC in good governance and the building of social infrastructure.

When the NPP was lambasting President Mahama, albeit unjustifiably, was it not meant to make political gains too?
Down the Memory lane/UP tradition’s record of ethnocentrism
The Case of Chief Dombo
Formed in 1954, the Northern Peoples Party’s (NPP) leader was Simon Diedong Dombo, the traditional chief of Duori in the then Upper Region, now Upper East Region. The party contested the 1954 election and the 1956 elections and was the leading Minority party or the second force in the then National Assembly now known as Parliament.
In December 1957, the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) government passed the Avoidance of Discrimination Act that was aimed at ensuring that political parties were nationally based. It was then at this point that the ethnocentric focus Ashanti-led National Liberation Movement (NLM) came to face -to -face with the reality of the day.
Consequently, the opposition parties merged into one party called the United Party (UP) under the joint leadership of K.A. Busia (NLM) and S.D. Dombo (NPP). With 15 seats from the Northern People's Party (NPP) and 12 from the National Liberation Movement.
In November 1957 it merged with other opposition parties against the Convention People's Party to form the United Party
The fact is that, the Chief Dombo-led NPP had contested the 1954 and 1956 elections and having 15 seats and the Busia-led NLM had 12 seats and had never contested any of the elections .Why didn't the late S.K.Dombo lead the UP but rather Dr.Busia? The big lie is that Chief Dombo himself voluntarily opted for Dr.Busia to lead. If for the sake of argument one agrees that was the really the case, then the UP tradition has been grossly ungrateful to Northerners. Why Danquah-Busia political Tradition, Dankwa-Busia Institute, without any reference to Chief Dombo granted all that he did? It took criticism upon criticism before the tradition came to accept the need for having to add Dombo’s name to the tradition. So it was never ever in the minds of members of the tradition to do so as it is obvious .He was just a Northerner having been used, dumped and forgotten of.
The Case of Tolon Naa
Going further, why didn't the late Tolon Naa, Alhaj Yakubu Tali, lead the Progressive Peoples Party (PFP) a scion of the UP but rather the late Victor Owusu for the 1979 elections?
The case of Aliu Mahama
Why did 17 Akans gang up against one northerner, the late Aliu Mahama for the NPP’s convention in December 2007? The resultant effect was that, he was unsuccessful, obtaining only 6% (146 votes) of total delegate ballots cast. If this is not an entrenched position by the NPP not to “cede its Akan leadership” to Northerners but only to use them as running mates but what is it?
The least intelligent person can see the correlation between what Nana Akufo Addo is reported to have said and these historical facts-So it is clear that the Dankwa-Busia political tradition by deliberate design has made the political leadership of the tradition a preserve of Akans alone with non-Akans only to be used and dumped at will. That is the hard fact and that is why Haruna Atta a Northerner of class and not a boot leaker like others left the trabalist party and joined the NDC where anyone can become President not matter your ethnic origin as President Mahama rightly said. This is the way to go for Ghana but not the way of the UP tradition’s primitive ethnocentric driven politics
The case of Paul Affoko
Proceeding further, why was Paul Affoko sacked? What was the justification for that? His complaint against the opening of a Ghc 5 million cedis account without the knowledge of the chairman or the party’s General Scretary,Kwabina Agyapong among other misdeeds was the only reason for their being sacked and nothing else. is that the qualities of a leader who others claim he has never been corrupt?
The NPP most especially this current Akyem-led one cannot absolve itself of ethnocentrism so long as some members of the party, and radio stations loyal to it, have made and continue to make demeaning comments against Northerners especially sitting President Mahama simply because he is a Northerner.
