MAHAMA’S HAS NO PLAN FOR GHANA
Dr K.B. Asante expressed his displeasure at politicians over their kind of campaign messages and plans for the country should they get the nod at this year’s December 7 general elections to manage the economy.
“I’m not happy about the lack of concern with issues and how we’ll improve the nation. Also worrying to hear loose talks about building more schools, roads, hospitals and other projects. That shows government has no plan; and its finances are not being utilized well,” Dr Asante stated.

No disrespect to Nana Akufo-Addo but he is too old and lacks critical ideas to the development of Ghana and for that matter, Africa as a continent. The world is advancing with information technology and Africa must catch up as quickly as possible. This means that Ghana or Africa needs young and vibrant leaders with fresh ideologies to unite and form stronger ties among the people in other to combat diseases and security issues facing the continent.
Nana Akufo-Addo's character and chastisement infused with a 1st and 2nd world war mentality would harm Ghana so badly that it will retrogress everything Dr Kwame Nkrumah and all those great African leaders fought for.
A great leader needs to be seen inspiring, motivating, educating and helping the people to better their lives and not inciting hate and dividing the people with bunch of lies in the name of politics. Considering Nana Akufo-Addo's age one would think that he would come up with strategic plans to better the lives of the old in society and strengthen the pension scheme but he has never ever mention the word pension nor even scheme.
Leadership is action infused with positive results and Nana Akufo-Addo lacks credibility to be a leader for Ghana and for that matter Africa. Ghana be wise and vote for a young and a vibrant leader with a great integrity to bring strategic development for all Africans.
I pray for mentality change and long live for Ghana. May GOD bless us all!

There must be a much better way of protecting the ballot paper and pink sheets so fake ballot papers and pink sheets can be easily identified after voting is over and separated from original authenticated valid ballot papers and pink sheets. Serial numbers of the pink sheets is in the right direction but it is woefully inadequate. The security of the ballot papers on the other hand is as porous and loose as anything.
Currently it does not seem to have any security features, and raising a ballot paper into the air to demonstrate to voters, polling agents and observers to show the voter was given just one ballot paper in my estimation, is an incurably primitive exercise laughable to say the least, if the effort is to prevent over-voting, over-stuffing or whatever term one would like to describe it.
Innovative ways of which numerous abound should be introduced to reduce the incidence of rigging to ensure credible elections and that should be the goal.
