Member of the New Patriotic Party, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has apologised over a Facebook post in which he alleged that thumb printed ballots have been found in the Ketu South District of the Volta Region.
The post, shared on Saturday, suggested that the Electoral Commission officials in the area were not cooperating with party agents on the matter.
Gabby’s controversial post attracted widespread discussions on social networks with critics claiming the EC intends to rig the December 7 general elections.
After the EC dismissed the reports and urged the public to disregard it, Gabby posted another statement in which he apologised to the EC.
